Hans Rotman explains how fear is triggered musically during the concert with movements from Bernard Herrmann’s Psycho and Fahrenheit 451. Bernard Herrmann, a master of fear, composed the soundtrack to numerous Hitchcock films (Vertigo, North by Northwest, Psycho).
The Philharmonisches Kammerorchester Wernigerode will be conducted by Phillip Barczewski. Moderator: Hans Rotman (artistic director of the IMPULS festival for new music).
